Come join me on May 3, 2023 at 8p.m. Eastern for a guest lecture from U.S. Air Force Col. Merryl Tengesdal (Ret.) at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum (also streaming online), about her amazing career in aviation. Starting as a Navy helo pilot, she became the first African American woman to fly the U-2 spyplane.
I’m excited to be participating in this as moderator, as Tengesdal discusses the challenges she overcame and the resilient mindset she developed to set herself up for success and make history flying one of the most iconic aircraft still in operation.
This event is both in-person at the National Air and Space Museum in DC and will be streamed live on YouTube. Registration is required for in person attendance and encouraged for online viewing. Click here to register!
